Lemon confit, orchard fruit, white flowers and mint give the 2015 much of its distinctive personality. There is plenty of depth and intensity in the glass, but today, the 2015 offers more freshness and tighter grain. The interplay of intense, rich fruit and what appears to be a slightly greater emphasis on freshness results in a striking, impeccably balanced Chardonnay. This is a remarkable wine for the year. Sadly, yields are down a whopping 60%.
